Our Ethos

The health and well being of our staff is central to our business model. We provide a safe environment for people work, we also wanted to support our local community in providing a safe place for people to keep fit and train.

Running is one of the most simple and accessible ways of improving health. An organisation called parkrun have set up free, weekly 5km timed runs all around the world. They are open to everyone, free and are safe and easy to take part in. We at BoxerFM wanted to help bring a parkrun to our local area and are delighted to say that the Severn Valley parkrun is now available to take part in every week.

Anyone can give parkrun a go, and runners of all abilities are welcome – from those taking up running for the first time, to Olympians training for first place. By taking part in parkrun’s free, weekly 5k timed runs you not only have the chance to train in a safe environment, you can also benefit from earning points and rewards with some of the sponsors incentive schemes.

about Severn Valley parkrun

The Severn Valley Country parkrun is a fun, free event organised by volunteers for the benefit of everyone.

The course is 5000m (5K) long and held at Severn Valley Country Park, Bridgnorth. The course is run on a mixture of trail paths and grass and is a timed walk, jog or run. It is accessible to all, free and safe to take part in, aligned with the parkrun event model and ethos which has enjoyed success around the world.

We are proud to have been involved in the initial organisation of the Severn Valley parkrun and delighted that this can now take place every Saturday morning at 9am, all year round.
