If you are looking for a Facilities Management (FM) company, probably one of the first things that you would be interested in doing is meeting the people you would be working with. The people who comprise the nuts and bolts, the nitty gritty and carry out the daily grind. Let’s talk about the services we provide at Boxer FM and some of the people involved in them.
What does Facilities mean?
Facilities means an all-encompassing service for our clients, we take care of all the Hard FM and Soft FM services for them, ensuring services are met and carried out in a timely manner. Hard FM is the large maintenance tasks involved in looking after a property such as: air conditioning servicing, boiler service and gas safe certification, lightning protection, fall arrest systems, plant rooms, building management systems and many more that keep buildings running smoothly and compliant. Soft FM is window cleaning, gritting services, grounds maintenance services, internal and external fabric checks, jet washing, high level cleaning and much more.
What are our USPs?
Our work involves lots of planning around the needs of our clients and also the particular use of the business we are taking care of; this can be planning in works out of hours, supervising contractors and completing reactive maintenance requests through our team of maintenance assistants. We are good at getting to know our clients inside and out and building great relationships. With that comes trust, dependability and high standards which are just a few of our USPs.
who makes up our team?
Let’s go ahead and introduce a few of the people who make up our facilities management team:
Oliver Hartup | National Facilities Manager
Oli joined Boxer in 2017 and ensures all our FM sites are compliant at all times, carrying out planned preventative maintenance checks on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. He also oversees all the sub-contractors that we require to carry out specialist works across our FM sites for our clients. He checks that the maintenance team have the tools and equipment they need to carry out their jobs.
Joe Noble | Maintenance Engineer
Joe joined our team back in April 2018 and looks after sites in the Midlands area.
He takes care of all the planned maintenance checks, reactive maintenance, planned and quoted works, ensuring our sites are maintained and compliant. Joe also takes care of all the PAT testing compliance for Boxer FM and many other electrical items across our sites.
Danieal Wyatt | Maintenance Assistant
Dan joined our team back in December 2020 and looks after our sites in Kent and surrounding areas. He carries out planned maintenance checks, reactive maintenance and quoted works, supervising sub-contractors and ensuring our sites are well maintained and compliant.
Stefan Russell | Maintenance Assistant
Stefan joined the Boxer team back in November 2020 and looks after our sites in Kent and surrounding areas. He carries out planned maintenance checks, reactive maintenance, supervises sub-contractors and the completion of quoted works, while ensuring our clients sites are well maintained and compliant.
Keith Winter | Maintenance Assistant
Keith joined our team at the beginning of February 2021 and looks after our sites in Kent and surrounding areas. He carries out planned maintenance checks, reactive maintenance, supervising sub-contractors and completing quoted works, while ensuring our clients’ sites are well maintained and compliant.
Hazel Malahleka | Facilities Administrator
Hazel joined our team in December 2020 and is in charge of planning in works across our sites, with the in-house maintenance team and also sub-contractors. She liaises with our clients directly to ensure we have full details on jobs and any special requirements. Hazel is also in charge of allocating job tickets to our maintenance teams to resolve specific tasks. Hazel also ensures that all planned preventative checks are carried out by the maintenance team and that they are then recorded onto our central planner to ensure each site is compliant and up to date.
David Pitt | Grounds Maintenance
David started with us back in December 2019 and works for Boxer FM on the grounds maintenance side. This involves working in all weathers ensuring our external areas are safe, clean and well presented.
Alan Weaver | Building Manager
Alan joined our maintenance team back in November. Alan takes care of all the maintenance, planned preventative maintenance checks, sub-contractors and compliance. He also supervises the cleaning team on site.
Keaton Riddell | Project Supervisor
Keaton joined the team in February 2021 and has got straight into the action carrying out a large high level cleaning project for one of our clients in Coventry.
